About Our Chairs
An Adirondack chair is simply the most relaxing and comfortable garden chair you can buy. First designed in 1903 in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, this classic design will suit any English garden or patio.
Each chair is handcrafted in England and originally used hard-wearing larch timber and stainless steel screws to provide you with a superior product that will last for years. Since February 2024, due to global issues affecting the supply of Siberian Larch wood, our chairs are now made from Douglas Fir wood, which is known for its strength, durability, and resistance to decay, making it ideal for outdoor furniture. As with any wooden product for outdoors, we recommend treating them.
They come fully assembled and ready for use. We don't trust flat-packed furniture, and you shouldn't either! Both larch and douglas fir will gradually fade to a rustic and dignified silver-grey.
Our chairs come in two sizes: Classic and High Back. The Classic size is perfect for most people, while the High Back size is identical in every way, except the backrest is 10 cm higher.
In addition, we provide top-quality Adirondack Cushions, to perfectly complement our chairs.
